About me

Professional translator since 1997, holding a BA in translation from the University of Bologna, Advanced School for Interpreters and Translators, in Forlì.

I currently collaborate with important translation companies, including:

Major cooperations

I cooperate with Lionbridge for translation assignments as well as for short-term in-house projects in the position Language Lead.
Until 2004 I worked for Immediapress, an Italian press agency (ADNKronos Group), providing real-time, financial related translations from English into Italian.

In 2000 I was hired at iLanguage, a Los-Angeles based translating company, in the quality of Italian translator and later promoted to Italian supervisor in its premises in the Dominican Republic and San José, Costa Rica.

Editorial projects

I took part to the translation of UNESCO Encyclopedia "History of Humanity", published by Planeta De Agostini (Barcelona, Spain), as well as to the Italian version of the National Geographic Atlas, and the Encyclopedia of animals.

I translated some travel guides (Rough Guide, Laos, Zanzibar, France), whereas for Studio Editoriale Littera (Rescaldina, Milan, Italy) I partially translated The Mitrokhin Archive II, by Cristopher Andrew, published by Rizzoli.

Other activities

In the past I have worked part-time and I seldomly still work as Italian lecturer and teacher in Italy and abroad (Spain, South America, Saudi Arabia).
